Yoga therapy is a complementary medical method that combines the ancient knowledge of yoga with modern findings from medicine and psychology.

Complaints are not considered in isolation, but in relation to lifestyle, breathing, posture and mental attitude. The central idea is that every person has the ability to heal themselves – yoga therapy helps to activate these resources. Mindfulness is an essential principle: conscious feeling and perception are prerequisites for initiating change.

Number of participants: 4 people
Target group: People with back pain who want to use yoga therapy to improve their well-being or alleviate their pain.

Duration: 9 sessions/lessons of 60 minutes each.
The first session/medical history takes approximately 75 minutes. and will be individually arranged between 5 January. and 9 January 2026 agreed in advance and carried out.

In the physical realm, yoga therapy utilises a variety of classic yoga exercises that are carefully selected and adapted. Unlike performance-oriented fitness programmes, the focus here is not on external form, but on internal experience. Movements are performed slowly and consciously, often in conjunction with breathing.

Upright through life - achieving lightness and balance with yoga

A key concern is to identify unfavourable posture patterns and gently change them. Many people suffer from tension in the neck and back, which is exacerbated by sedentary activities or stress. Specific exercise sequences can provide relief here by stretching muscles, mobilising joints and stimulating energy flow. In addition, the exercises help you to become more aware of your posture in everyday life and improve it in the long term.

Yoga according to condition and constitution

My yoga (Viniyoga) courses, individual lessons and therapies are tailored to your constitution and current state of health. They are intended to supplement medical treatment, but do not replace it. If you have serious health problems, please consult your family doctor or specialist.

All yoga (Viniyoga) courses, individual lessons and therapies are held in German.
Individual yoga lessons and therapies can also be conducted in English. Yoga beginners are welcome; no previous experience is necessary. All offers are aimed at adults aged 16 and over.

What to bring to yoga (Viniyoga) classes, individual lessons and therapies
Please bring comfortable clothing (gym clothes), socks and a towel. Yoga mats are available. If you have your own yoga mat, you can bring it with you.
